After my smooth delivery, we got discharged from the hospital. Usually, cloudenine calls next day of discharge for jaundice checkup of the baby. So we were there for the checkup but we got to know that everything is fine except baby’s weight(weight was 3.1kgs).
Dr. D MALATHI RAJA told us to get admitted because she wanted to monitor whether the baby is latching milk properly or not. This was my second delivery. I am an experienced mother and knew that my baby is doing fine, as far as feeding is concerned. We explained this to her but she insisted, again and again, to get admitted. It was only 4th day of my delivery, I was not even able to walk, and for hospitalization, again I had to complete many checkup formalities. It was really difficult for me and my 4days old. I desperately wanted to go back to my home and take rest. But we could not deny as it was suggested by a doctor. After 1day, we decided not to stay more in the hospital so she gave us discharge permission, without any problem. We felt that it was a complete exploitation of someone’s health and money.
But not to forget she is friendly and listens to everything with patience.
Lastly, I would like to request cloudenine, not to practice/encourage these kinds of activities.
