Good Resorts but where are the bookings2009/2017

2017 Review


After this previous review, Things did change for the better and the booking seemed to get a little fair, But good things dont last for a long time. We eventually have got so sick that we have not taken a club mahindra holiday for quite some time now, we even let our days lapse. Last week I thought of trying out their online android app. Believe me The Con just gets smarter, You try any resort any month any season, No weekend is ever free, The patterns are the same everywhere, You get rooms on Friday and Sunday but Saturday is waitlisted. Any combination I keep getting a message - You are exceeding the max no of rooms permitted. Even when I book one 1 Br or 1 2Br, Red or lower also. How can a company keep conning their customers for such a long time and get away with it. The enthusiasm is really good when they want to collect the ASF annual fees.The rate at which they seem to be taking new members, I doubt if anyone would even get rooms on weekdays. I agree with Sree, we have been members for a long time, we used to get bookings easily when they had online bookings, now it is impossible to get bookings, we have tried upto 3.5 months earlier. But It is all humbug, when you go to the resort you do not get choice of rooms.


Even if you request 3 months in advance, We had young children, and we would request for a room overlooking the pool, so that we could keep an eye on the children, but this never happened. You land up in the resort only if you are on the wait list and there are last minute cancellations, you will find few members, mostly RCI exchange(Firangs) or Corporate tie-ups.


This is pathetic, My recent holiday in Dharamshala and Shimla was certainly not upto the mark, The standard is certainly slipping. The food is not as good as it used to be. I have even had to pay for a Hotel unit because of non-availability. They charge for extra bed for my daughter. It is pathetic, I would really want to sell my Time share, anyone interested in a good price can reply to this post
