I dont usually write reviews, or plainly put Im too lazy to write ones! but im back from a pleasant holiday experience and I cant help but write about it. Want to share it with my peers on the internet.
This was my first trip to Munnar. I’ve been to other places in Kerala namely Cochin, Trichur(the famour Trichur pooram), snake boat races et al. I was told by friends to visit Munnar and heard great things about Munnar but never knew what is in store for me! I held a Club Mahindra membership and have utilized the Goa holiday .been there a few times because its close to Mumbai where I stay.
I decided to try Munnar for a change, and Im glad I did that. To start with Munnar transports you and your senses and you feel you have been missing something in life. Now Munnar town as it is called is not for me and is at a lower level.
But I can vouch and definitely say that Club Mahindra lakeview resort in Munnar is located at one of the best locations in Munnar. The moment you enter in you are well taken of and you feel you are a royalty. The welcome drink is good though I wish they gave other drinking options.
The rooms are clean, beautifully done, wooden floorings .and all amenities one would require for a week long stay. The bathroom and toilet is also clean and is well maintained. The view from my room was amazing .i thought I was dreaming, its so beautiful.
The only thing I missed was not taking my wife with me as she is in US on project. When I told her of my experience she wants me to take her to Munnar next year. Im sure it will be a romantic experience.
