Small mistakes spoil all ( REVISED)

Your Big Brother Sterling is suddenly becoming very active. Already Sterling is very strong in the holding of properties. Also Thomas cook is entering with Sterling


In fact the best buy today is old Sterling from some members(with validity of more than 75 years yes it is seventyfive years).


As on today CM has widespread resorts with superb rooms well maintained, They spoil their name with so many rules and norms. I wont go into details of the money part initial as well as ASF. After all a business organization is to make money Nice if nothing is offered free with the purchase.


If I own a concern similar to club Mahindra I will do like this: Mahindra should think that the members paid to buy the resorts and pay ASF to maintain.


The rooms eligible to me  are my rooms


I can book if available at any name


change the name anytime incl at  the time I check in


(Today you can book in the name of Member or CoApplicant or guest and you are at the mercy of CM if you want your wife to go instead


If X is the member and his son is coapplicant they cant go to two different places. Sme resort they van book four rooms! can there be anything more "foolish"?)


I will sell  it to any guest anytime at any price


no guest charges


guest should be treated on par everywhere incl purchase of food


No " no guest days". My days: I will do anything because I paid for them.(Today there are "no guest days" for members  but Mahindra sells those days  to guests!)


Online booking will be very transparent


(today given a resort one does not know how many rooms are there in each category and how many are available)Even railways IRCTC tell you how many are totally available, waiting list number etc.


There is no question of my losing any points( now it is 18.0)  I paid why should I lose if I dont use.(Even now any person can cleverly maneuver  bookings so that he dos not lose)


Reasonable deduction by points or money if booking is changed or canceled . Normally there wont be any wastage if things are transparent


People should be humane. Drivers  should be given some dormitory accommodation with some simple food  say Rs 300 per day. normally resorts are far from city and how will a driver eat. Or even a small point say .05 may be debited One big room per resort is fine. Just plain sheets not even beds are necessary with no smoking and no drinking!


The main difference between hotel and resort is one can cook in the room . Facilities like microwave oven should be there. Simple things like idly phulka should be available all the time


Food can be simple say a max of ten dishes incl one non veg. Max one indian dessert.(today eight desserts) It may be served again and again by four people. I feel buffet is not at all hygienic. Bottled water at MRP.


If Mahindra can do like this it is wonderful:


At any time a member can walk away collecting the money he paid minus the rent for the holidays he enjoyed. How happy he will be. And what a great estimate the member will have about Mahindra
