My experience with club

Hi,


This is Dr. Neha. I am from Chandigarh. So it all started with a conversation with a boy name Akshit. On the 9th of Jan this year. I received a call from him stating that he is calling from a holiday company named Resorts. I am a doctor practicing in 16 hospitals. Because of a very hectic schedule, I asked the boy to call me back after a week. Later after about 10 15 days I again received a call by the same boy Akshit. He requested me and my family to attend a holiday seminar for the next day. But I again refused to attend as I was traveling to Maharashtra for some emergency work. I felt little bad for the boy as he was following up again and again so I asked Akshit to call me in Feb as I will return in the first week. So again on the 7th of February Friday, he told me that they again are conducting the seminar for some privileged doctors and many other people are invited. So I felt as I have already given him so many dates and he has been taking tremendous follow up so I asked him to process my invitations.


He told me that I am being invited to my husband. And we are 4 so he specified me that only couples are allowed. In the beginning, I felt weird as we are 4 so where will I leave my kids. So firstly I refused but then he again insisted on me come and told me that I can bring them with me. So finally he booked some table with code CRCH004 which he sent us through an SMS. He said at the Entrance we will be asked to show this code then only we can come.


He told us that we are invited for 3 days and 2 nights stay along with VLCC salon vouchers and food coupons worth RS 1000. I know such companies call a lot of people and invite them with many lucrative offers in the beginning and sell their memberships. We receive almost 10 promotional calls from such companies about every second day.


So after all the process and requests and back to back follow-ups, we went. We were invited to the 5-star hotel James. As my husband is also a practicing doctor so we scheduled our meeting at 8. We reached the hotel the next day.


It was a very crowded event. In the beginning, I was thinking to go back lol but then they offered us some cookies and coffee to us.


And it started with a meeting with a tall guy called himself sales guy Mr. Anooroop. He briefly told us about our gift vouchers and started warming up to comfort us with some conversations that he belongs to CHD only and his sister was also a medical student. So there were many common things to discuss because of which we were able to sit for so long. In mid of all the conversation he started Briefing about the company. Told us a few holiday packages. I had a long discussion on its benefits. Later after describing he called his manager Mr. Balwinder to back him up. I know these are some tactics that companies used nowadays to sell their products.


Anyway, after they described all the benefits packages all the negotiations and long discussions we finally decided to buy this. It was a challenge situation that we can only buy on the table. As their offer was only on the table. Which I think is a drawback and obviously not comfortable for those who are salaried and want to take such memberships.


We paid Rs. 275000 through our credit card in one go. And after some time, they told us about annual charges. Initially, I refused to continue but they all are very good at convincing people. They will give you a Lott of offers and benefits along with your membership nights if you are not buying and so they give us too that anyhow we say yes and continue. So finally my husband agreed. When we came back home and searched about them we saw a lot of complaints we called Mr. Anooroop and told him about it. He assured us that he will personally take care of all our hotel bookings. The third day of being associated with them we received a call from their head office of a girl by the name Pooja. She explained and repeated all the benefits of association with them and the booking process and everything.


Fortunately, the very next week on 12th I had to travel to Bhopal because of some emergency at work. And I called Balwinder that I need a booking for 13th and 14th. At the time of buying membership, he told us that we have to book in 10 to 15 days in advance but he also told us in case of any emergency he will always help. I asked him to process my booking as a special case. And I am very happy that he stood on his words and did this booking. I know it becomes very difficult at times to do such immediate bookings and despite knowing the requirement of advance booking he helped us.


I am glad that I did not throw my money into waste. With such employees, the company can grow. I am sure if he would have not been in this company then my bookings on such short notice would have not been possible.


A few days back only I have received a black kit having their property lists and certificate of our association with restro, cards n all.


I am planning a vacation in April first week. I hope all goes well and will definitely share my next experience.
