TATA CMC Industrial Training Institute in Chandigarh(earlier Panchkula) is the most unprofessional institute that I’ve ever come across! I’d signed up for the SEO course and what a waste it was. I barely went for 4 days. You’d rather watch videos on youtube and learn than waste your time waiting for the guy to show up to take your class. Be prepared to find the institute locked or the guy(Jatinder Saini) missing. The guy hardly has any knowledge on the subject. The only study material he gives are a few pages of webmaster guidelines, then reads that out to you, as if you have trouble comprehending plain simple English. You might as well go through the same online, from the comfort of your home.
Has zero knowledge about the new website building platforms - Wordpress, Joomla, Blogger. Other than the basic coding mentioned in the webmaster guidelines, don’t expect him to teach you a word extra. He practially reads it out from the guidelines. You can forget about learning link-building and SEO techniques. He doesn’t even know how the’google keyword planner’ works. If you happen to be well versed with the subject and think the course will hone your skills, you are HIGHLY MISTAKEN! You might be able to teach a whole lot to this guy. For everything, his pet dialogue is, "pata karke bataoonga aapko."
The worst is that the husband-wife duo is busy minting money from students. Be prepared to let others(prospective bakaras) hog as much as an hour of your class(yes, they like to dupe people to join his courses and they take that time off of YOUR session, if you are unfortunately already registered for a course). So, for a supposedly two-hour class(says three hours on their website), be prepared to have a 30 minute session only. You might have to sit for the entire 2 hours though. He doesn’t let the prospective bakaras get away. So, be prepared to WAIT. He doesn’t really have an adequate staff to take care of the admin jobs.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go through the madness. When it comes to SEO training, there’s plenty that you can google / search on youtube. Save your time and money! Good luck!
