Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

That’s what the media’s pushing, scaring the holycrap out of people around the world. Yep, they have documents from Al’Q threatening not only the US, but South East Asia, France and Germany during the holiday season. This is what they want. That good old seat-sucking fear. I guess the September event didn’t curb their hunger enough , so now there’s a big push on to issue these WARnings, which are not only being talked about nonstop on World CNN, but the scrolling bar at the bottom repeats over and over ’’European Terrorist Warnings’’. I loathe CNN, knowing they’re just a governement mouthpiece, but it’s in English and I can watch it for what I ’aha’ as disinformation and the manure-like spreading of propaganda. Ohyeah it stinks.

There was the September event. Ohboy jumpforjoyjoy, the media’s wet dream come true. Fingers pointed to Afghanistan and bin Laden. In went the troops.... whoops coming from the White House.. gah’dam, daddy, I think we got them t’arists on the run, we’re gonna get us that pipeline and then the Caspian Sea, wooheee. Find a patsy, make him big bad and Evil. The media is going nuts, live feeds screwing up (my favorite), total chaos! Then comes Anthrax, another ’gasm as the Feedia milks it until, in udder words, it dries up. (I apologize, that sucked). What next, what next? They wait for the green light, the big story, in the meantime perpetuating the fear of terrorists and showing what terrorism can do, while they instill more and more terror into the hearts and souls of the world’s population. They jumped on Saddam and threats of a looming war. Osama who? Bin there. Done that. They’re still trying to scare the bejeesus out of us. Why? DT says if you get the people scared enough, they’ll be begging for war, just so they can sleep at night. Ha! Who will sleep soundly at night if Iraq is invaded? The media will be more-hyped than they were with Desert Storm, and from what I can tell, life will never be the same. Anywhere.

Today one reporter spoke of The Red Zone, referring to the amount of time it takes Al’Q to gear up for a big one. Ominously she said, ’’we’re in that period now.’’ I had to supress the dirty part of my mind on that, chuckling because she obviously didn’t realize how it sounded. I realize how jaded I come off, but I can smell BS a kilometer away, and she was driving that fear fast and hard into the ears and eyes of the viewers.

I have never used CNN as a source for anything, but I went to their site and found a query box asking readers how they felt about the terror warnings. ’’Are such warnings useful and effective -- or do they just spread panic?’’, asks Becky Anderson. The responses are worth a read as they vary sharply and for the most part are from people in many countries, only a few from the States - https://europe.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/europe/11/11/yoursay.terroralerts/
