To be honest I came across this beer by accident as a waiter offered it. I was impressed by the fact this won a award although the look of the bottle & the label put me off. Since then this is pretty much my preference for a lager. Of course I noticed the ads later, & honestly they didn’t make any sense to me. Great drink , low in acidity, less bitter than other beer, goes with all types of food & strong enough for a lager. This is definitely a better beer than Kinfisher, Black Label & the rest.
However, the problem is that this is not available in most bars/nightclubs/shops in Kolkata. There is another variant called King Cobra which has better availability however I don’t like that so much. I’ve also noticed that this beer has less acceptance among st my friends, probably because of the fact the ad ampaign is not catchy enough neither is the publicity strong. Somehow they don’t think that this is an international good quality drink.
