Coke or Pepsi, choose your poison !

The average pH of soft drinks, e.g. Coca-Cola , Pepsi is pH 3.4. This means that the acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones !!

Our human body stops building bones at around the age of 30. After that it dissolves the bones at the rate of between 8 18 % of the bones each year, through the urine, depending on the acidity of the food intake

(Acidity does not affect the taste of the food, but depends on the ratio of potassium/ calcium / magnesium / etc. to phosphorus).

All the dissolved calcium compounds accumulate in the arteries, veins, skin tissue, and organs. This affects the functioning of the Kidneys (Kidney Stones).

If you put a broken tooth in a bottle of Coca-Cola or Pepsi - in 10 days, it will dissolve! Teeth and bones are the only human organs, that stay intact for years after death. Often identification of bodies has been carried out years later, on the basis of dental records.

If this can happen to your teeth, imagine what the drink must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining!

Soft drinks do not have any nutritional value (in terms of vitamins and minerals).

They have a high sugar content (danger of Diabetes), higher Acidity, and many additives, such as preservatives and colourings, which do not do the body any good.

Think, before you drink Coca-Cola, Pepsi or any other soft drink !!!!

Have you ever thought about what you get, when you drink an aerated drink? You gulp down Carbon dioxide  something that no doctor would advise you to do !

Some people like to take cold / chilled soft drinks during / after each meal.

Guess what’s the impact? Our body tries to maintain an optimum temperature of 37 0C, in order to assist the functioning of digestive enzymes.

The temperature of cold soft drinks is less than 37 0C, sometimes quite close to 0 0C. This will lower the effectiveness of / kill the enzymes and put stress on the digestive system, digesting less food.

This leads to conversion of undigested food to body fat. Now you know why soft drinks are not to be taken by those on a diet !!

In fact, the food gets fermented. The fermented food produces bad smelling gases. This food decays and forms Toxins, which are absorbed in the intestines, get circulated in the blood and are delivered to the whole body. This spread of Toxins can lead to the development of various diseases.
