Now guys I might be sounding very analytical or even artificial here.. but the fact of the matter is that coke has made an impact and a loud one....
I was a hard core PEPSI loyalist till about 3 years back.. so much so that I refused to talk to people who liked coke better than pepsi... and then one fine day all of it just changed..
it was when I went for a trip with friends to Dharamshala, Mcleodganj (HP)..i was the kinds wo would down 4-5 bottles of peps a day... and all of a sudden one day I get to find that pepsi is not available anywhere....it was coke all over the place..in Dharamshala, in Mcleodganj, in chandigarh and all over the entire region.... their distribution just got better of me... that was the first time (compulsive drinker that I was)i compromised on my favourite drink.....
anyways back home I had detracted from the loyalist club..but I still maintained my commitment to pepsi..till the time I started working...for me lunch without pepsi was like reading a book without paper.. but to my disappointment coke had bagged a contract with Taj for to be their offical drink and as a result I once again had to compromise coz I had to survive...
many more such incidents happened in the last 3 years in restaurants, hotels, shops etc where cokes distribution was impeccable....
Now as a result of the aggressive marketing by the buggers they converted a cult loyalist into a brand switcher ..though I still prefer pepsi...at times!!!!
Cheers to the Always...Everywhere.Coca -Cola
