Innovative, creative coconut wood

Ecofriendly, natural non-toxic seems to be the mantra today. Plastics are out, and wood free paper is in. Hand made paper, jute are all in for good. Something else that I found really good is coconut wood. M/S Ravi exports offers specialties in utilitarian handicraft. The one place where handicraft meets home needs! A plethora of products, which are all handcrafted from coconut wood. (the trunk of 100 yr old trees) They also use coconut shell which is not only a treat to the eyes but also wonderful in use.

A unique range of articles that involves craft and aims at bringing Mother Nature out in a new form. A refreshing change from our mundane surroundings, breaks the monotony, as far as looks are concerned and are durable, elegant and unconventional. All items are handy, attractive and include little things to furnish the entire home.

The product range has a fantastic variance. Traditional kitchenware to walking sticks, wine cups to electriclamps for the shrine, table lamps to incense sticks’ stand and even key rings in the shapes of musical instruments. They are extremely eye catching. It has grains that are natural which is not found in any other wood.

The company displaces the traditional myth that handicraft is expensive and is synonymous with the showcase. Here is a wide range that is utilitarian and affordable. All products are meant to be used and are totally a friend of the environment.

Products available in coconut wood are

Pen stands, spoon stands, vases, candle stands, nut bowls, saucers, napkin rings, ladles, tilters, spatulas, cutlery sets, spoons, forks, knives, incense stick stands and key rings to name a few.

Latest arrivals include table lamps with shades, electric diyas, bud vase holders, photo frames, pot holders, battens and walking sticks.

Coconut shell products include wine cups, ice cream cups, nut bowls, ashtrays, ladles, dessertspoons and lots more, all in variant sizes.

A fantastic collection designed to last a lifetime

Ravi exports has its show room at kemp fort, Airport road Bangalore. They also take part in various trade fairs and crafts exhibitions. (e.g. dilli haat, Delhi) That’s where I found the latest product collection, a few of which are not yet on the website. They can however be contacted in Bangalore.

A great collection that shall add to the décor to any home.
