Remember the drool-worthy Australian freakshakes that took over the internet? Well, Di Bella has brought them to India. And I took the liberty of trying it out. A chocolate decadence, hell yeah!
I went to Di Bella with a friend. The place was packed on a Saturday night. We were lucky to find a table. Every table had a freakshake. People were pouring in to try those dreamy shakes. I just had to show a freakshake pic to my friend and she was as excited as me!
Priced at Rs.350, CBD serves 3 kinds of freakshakes - premium chocolate with oreos, white chocolate with marshmallows and caramel with pretzel.
We ordered a Nutella Waffle and a Melbourne FreakShake.
Nutella Waffles were delicious. A must-try for every Nutella lover. When you think its too much chocolate, dip your Nutella waffle in whipped cream or gorge into vanilla ice cream that comes with it. Our next table neighbour ordered a Ferrero Rocher waffle which looked even better with Rochers on top, I couldnt stop ogling. Next time, maybe.
Time to taste the dream thats a reality courtesy of CBD. A Melbourne Freakshake consists of premium chocolate shake, chocolate ganache topped with whipped cream, chocosticks, oreo and waffle, dark chocolate pearls that stick to the glass and garnished with hersheys chocolate sauce, oreo and waffle. Its sinful. Chocolatey, sweet, whipped cream and oreos totally complement that. The crispy dark chocolate pearls are out of this world. Sip the shake, eat the cream and have the chocolate pearls, its a heavenly feeling!
We left the place contented, with a plan to come back for the other two. I slept like a baby that night.
Our dessert escapade cost us Rs.600(Nutella waffles - 250, Freakshake - 350) and it was worth every penny. What I liked about CBD was their menu showed prices inclusive of taxes. No surprises or rather a shock later.
