I rememeber coming over to coffee world a while ago while shopping around with my mom and sister in Brigade Rd, the smell of freshly made waffles is what made us slump into those nice and confy armchairs and indulge. The waffles then delivered their promise, but my sister and I decided to go for an item that is no longer on the menu: Green Iced Tea. The thing was horrendous and is the reason why it must have been withdrawn.
Anything else from their regular coffees to their iced frappe coffees passing by the flavoured teas are well worth it though.
And wait until you got a bite of their sandwiches!, They are big, have plenty of filling, and you can even choose the bread you want. Though over the years they seem to have narrowed the bread choice a bit, their bagel bread is no longer there, my guess is that it nevery really worked out as it’s a harder type of bread that most in India don’t seem to like much.
If you are not a sandwich fan, their salads and quiches are nice too, hubby and I are non vegetarian, so I can only speak for their chicken salads and their chicken quice. The waffles are awsome as well. I haven’t yet tried their cakes and donuts yet, but I never felt like indulging my sweet tooth with those as I tend to order their "Honey Crunch frappe" cold coffee which is like a desert in a drink.
The staff is non-invasive which is a huge plus for me as I hate being disturbed while enjoying a time out in a coffee shop. And this is a place I never fail to show to my familly and friend coming to visit me from Switzerland.
Very good value for money as well.
