I would like to share my thoughts and frustration with this hospital
First of all more than a hospital columbia asia is a glorified hotel where patient is treated as a money bag and they are always looking for ways to extract your money. For example you enter the hospital there is a registration fee, surprisingly parking is charged @30 inr/hr, Semms doctors have targets to give you most expensive scannin, tests and prescriptions. They have no value for the patients and follow unethical practices.
I have three experiences to share with this hospital. First was 6 years back when my baby was delivered as initially I agreed with them 60k package and finally my bill was 1.8 lakes and when I asked the reason for this huge difference they said it’s due to the fact that my baby was delivered on weekend and they created a kind of emergency situation where I did not have any other option
Second incident was my father in law went for a checkup and they said he has tumors in brain and he needs to get operated, we took second opinion and there was nothing and my father in law is still fine and now imagine if it happens with you
Third time was this week I took my mother for gastro problem and by mistake I took appointment with a Gastro sergion Dr Govind, they charged me 1150 for consultation and this doctor was in hurry and he did not even did any physical examination and left. During the process I realised that we should have gone to a gastrologist and when I asked to change the appointment as we did not get any prescription they are asking me to pay the fee again. As a customer I feel helpless & CHEATED and thought so sharing my thoughts with you
Guys before you go to this hospital be careful as what they tell you is not the truth and I see some of you have given the reviews that food is amazing or staff or service is very good, but remember you are not going to the hotel but a hospital
