Maternity benefits denied. It's a shame you people

They do not want to give Yearly increments as a female employee has just got married and they do not want to give any Maternity benefits. Maternity benefits not given as per law. Bonus given on management’s personal favors and opinion on staff and not on the professional front. There nothing like training and development that actually happens for RL2. Fake, illiterate teams presenting as POSH team members. No female in the HR team whom a female employee can approach at Hebbal Unit dated till October 2019, the male HR tend to exploit the dignity and respect of a female.


The HR managers ( Kiran Manjunath & Pratap) involved in breaking the laws of GOI by pushing a pregnant women to do laborious job which has led to miscarriage in September 2017 and MTOP surgery in September 2018 and then not giving the benefits as per GOI are working under the guidance of VP HR Manoj Gupta, GM HR Tanu Tiwari, and Somanath Kundgol.


After raising grievance on why the maternity benefits were not given as per the Maternity Benefits Amendment Act 2017. I was called for a meeting on 23-10-2019 the sick management VP HR Manoj Gupta and nurse Binu Sharma, holding managerial positions in an FDI company (Columbia Asia Pvt Ltd). mentally harassed me by asking me the definition of the MTOP and the pain I went through, which was such an inhumane gesture by a lady in front of male staff. Termination of employment letter was given without any genuine and valuable reason by the HR team of Columbia Asia Pvt Ltd Hebbal unit is a Proof of safeguarding the mistake committed by the organization. Shame on you people. In spite of Sending Legal Court Notice to the Hospital, on why Maternity benefits were not given and the employees are being exploited, your management at the meeting VP HR Manoj Gupta questions me what are your grievances. How you have such unprepared staff to handle or even discuss grievances. All you tried doing is to scare me by showing your designation. Wow! Are you Blind or you lack sense. I was asked questions like what is the definition of a miscarriage? Define abortion by the nurse Binu Sharma. I know you have the dumbest of the management, you didn’t have to prove it like this. And tell your interns to stop giving fake feedbacks and beg feedbacks to compensate hospital ratings. Shame!


CEO gives a gentle reply to my emails- will discuss and HR will get back to you if the Management would have given prompt response, why would I send an email to you Mr. NKJ. Why do you show as if you people have landed from heaven and are serving people? You are just exploiting employees. Staff who are involved in scams at your hospital Hebbal unit were rated outstanding and were given bonuses the way you wanted. Scams in a hospital setup, something new for the public to read. Had I one Sorry from any of your staff, all were proud that I wasn’t given benefits and you thought you would give termination and be safe for doing wrong. I wish I could post your email responses from all of the above-mentioned staff. Your HR had locked me in the glass room to sign on the termination letter and I was forced to stay back in the glass room. You think I would sign. I have accepted all the papers- accepted under protest. Well! Your lawyers have replied to the legal notice sent to Hebbal unit stating they wanted a month’s time to respond. Where is the reply? It’s for 2 months.


Now you will know what is the meaning of having a personal loss only because of mismanagement of your hospital. What were you all doing when I was pushed to work on a Sunday duty alone handling all the ICU patients and inpatient while I was pregnant by 2 months. Didn’t you know it’s not legal to push a pregnant employee to do arduous and laborious work?


FYI- You cannot terminate a permanent employee of any company by applying any clause from the appointment letter. Firstly I insist you must understand the Labour laws which your company has violated. Any company has the authority to terminate employees only during the probation period and not a permanent employee of the company.
