Problems and remodies to improve Columbioa Asia

My son got admitted in Columbia Asia hospital Yeswanthpur for two weeks due to some illness.I will not recommend any body to visit this hospital.The infrastructure is the only one plus point. The staff is not good, so the patient care is very poor.The nurses are not even experienced to take a blood sample in a single needling.The junior nurses take three to four needling to take a sample.Only few senior nurses are there who are very good.On asking their problems to the nurses most of them denied to speak, but one supervisor nurse told that this is due to the low morale of the nursing staff, which is due to the partiality shown by the management. The salary is not based on the experience and ability and while putting duty the NURSING MANAGER is showing high partiality.


There are 15 year experienced nurses who are getting much less than that of a 10 year experienced one.Some charge nurses are given more night duties and some are not having these night duty who are the pets of the N.M. On analyzing the same I too found that it was correct. I m not telling the names of the staff who have co operated with my inquiry as it will affect them badly. The patient staff ratio is not good, so more nurses may be appointed.Again I feel that the dressing of the nurses is not good, as the shirt of all the nurses are low necked which will expose the cleavage when they bend for taking temperature or injection, which is to be rectified urgently. They should wear good and completely hiding dress. If the hospital authorities take care of these things, they can surely improve the morale and reduce the drop outs of the staff and there by increase the reputation of the hospital.
