Columbia Asia has good infrastructure and processes definitely but can not comment same about their doctors which is backbone of any hospital.
I have very bad experience with Psychiatrist there who had put me on anxiety tablets when she couldnt figure out any issue and probably, she was clueless as all reports were normal. They dont let patients go and put on some medicines which are bad than drugs so you become habituated. Now, we become permanent customers and need to spend huge money with regular visits. Whenever we try to stop medicine, get withdrawal symptoms and now, I will be slave of those medicines. If we counter-question about asking why I was put on medicine or what is the way to come out, she is telling my wife that I am mental and she was asking me that I am burden on my family prompting me for suicide. My life got screwed up by such doctor who wanted to make money by screwing their patients to get permanent customers. They have done so much whitewash to my family that if I get dental issue or fall down somewhere and I get pain, they think that I am mental and I dont need any treatment but its just my perception of pain! This doctor not only screwed up my life but have proven to my family that I am mental. If that would have been case, I would not have been working as senior manager in MNC and delivering high quality projects for big clients and getting regular appreciations from client and colleagues.
Same thing is true with general physicians there who will ask you to come for followup on regular basis where they wont have any interest in your case and just say "Continue Medicine" for 30 seconds and ask for full consultation fees which is anyway too high.
I had already complained to hospital manager on their website where they had mentioned to take against this psychiatrist but I am sure it never happens! Just be sure - if they force you to meet other doctor and describe medicines without any proofs/reports, just counter-question and come out. Else they will screw up your life.
