I am financial expert and into the industry from past 23 Year, actively. I have seen many ups and downs in my professional career and also seen various companies which are in financial product development. In the history of Indian Economy GST (Goods and Service Tax) will be one of the greatest milestone, although there are various hurdles and uncertainty about when GST will be implemented.
The purpose which force me to bring this information to all of you is, there are many companies who belong to software development and developing financial products. Some companies are doing good work and following all business ethics, but at the same time there are many companies who are just focusing on earning money and kept all the business ethics aside. I am writing this as a consumer who trust these companies and give our hard earned money to them.
GST will be the most ambitious avenue for all the software development companies who are developing GST software. There are many companies who are doing unethical business activities just to get the money from the innocent people by making them fool. Below are some of the live examples which are happing in the current market and you will come to know how these companies are easily making fun of innocent people emotions just to get money out of their pockets.
Recently I have seen one company which is Jaipur based and doing unethical business activities. The Consumer is still wondering the origin of this company, in recent past this company was part of one big MNC who acquired this Jaipur based company and in very lesser time it got separated from this Jaipur based company (might be this MNC came to know the truth of this Jaipur based company). I strongly believe that this MNC realized in very short time that this joint venture will not be fruitful as they have acquired wrong and unethical company. Now this Jaipur based company come up with a new venture of GST and think that customers will believe of its fake promises about the product. This company forgets that nowadays customers are very smart and they can’t make us fool.
DEMO of GST Software is the latest terminology from which Companies are misleading their potential customers. For any company how it is possible to provide a demo of the GST software before the release of Acts, Forms and other related things from the Government of India’s side. The Government is keeping on changing the structure of GST Taxation, like Forms which Government have provided recently is completely different from the Forms which Government have provided earlier. Before 1st April 2017(Tentative date for GST Implementation) if any company is claiming that they have developed the “DEMO of GST”, then this clearly indicates that either they are providing Incorrect demo of the GST software (in which they have just incorporated thing which are released by Government till now and subject to change/remove) or they are providing Incomplete demo.
Some companies are taking advance money against the future GST software. They are promising the innocent customers that GST will definitely come in India, unlike what the current political situation is. I am in this industry from past 23 years and never seen such kind of wrong activity just to earn money. These companies are doing some manipulation in their billing system as they can’t directly charge for the product which is not available or I would say no idea when will be available.
I am not in against of these companies neither I have any personal problem with these companies, but it feels bad as a customer when any company take advantage of uncertainty of the market and target innocent people just to make money from unethical way.
