H c. Verma is a subjective problem solving book for physics with some very high level thinking skill being used, but the problem is now a days many medical preparing students are using it as problem solving book but its wrong as engineering entrance exam provides 3 min(JEE mains for each question to answer so they have time to solve& mark the bubble, but in contrast medical entrances(NEET) provide only 1 minute for a single question hence they never ask such rubbish questions which need 4-5 mins to solve, as far I know 35 of 45 physics question can be solved by basic& fundamentals knowledge based tricks so u just read the question& without using pen( or very little calculation) can give you answer, so theres no need to waste your time on HC verma, if you want challenging question NCERT& Itd exampler are enough as dirct question are asked in NEET, also read th e points to ponder part from NCERT its very beneficial, At last I would recommend ALLEN physics material( or urs coaching class material) and NCERT( a must read book)& previous year question of various entrance exam would be more than enough it will hrdly take ur 3 hrs a day, so you can completely focus on biology( most important) 5-6hr& chemistry 4-5 hrs. In medical preparation success comes only to great planners as only 6000 outof 6.5lakhs are able get govt seat in mbbs All india quota in NEET
