This is with reference to Concorde Motors, KR road, Bangalore.Executive Name - Mr Girish (96320 37002)
I booked a Fiat Grande Punto Emotion Diesel on Monday (09-Nov-09). I had insisted on Electric Blue color and the same was accepted by Executive and entered in the yellow form which is filled while booking a car.
Until Saturday (14-Nov-09), executive called me thrice and confimred that the Free Insurance offer is going to end by 14-Nov-09 and also confirmed the color of the car (Electric Blue). Also insisted me to get a letter from the bank that the loan is under process.I sat on bank managers head after their WORKING HOURS to get this letter.
As requested, I got the letter and reached the showrrom to submit the same @ 6:00 in the evening. This is when Executive said that Electric Blue is not available and I need to opt for a different color. I was completely shocked as he confirmed the color atleast 5 times in the week and never told me that the color is unavailable. He told that I need to select a different color by EOD, if not scheme would be closed and I need to pay complete amount (without Insurance) if I need Electric Blue.
I couldnt digest what he said.. However, he forced me for almost half an hour and I finally HAD TO OPT a different color (White color Punto, which I had never seen on road ) as a compromise for 24K which I would have missed otherwise.
Later, on Tuesday I saw a White colored Punto on the road. I just didnt like it. Immediately, I called Mr Girish asking him to Change the color back to Electric Blue and was ready to wait for another week for the delivery. However, he directly said on my face that "I had to pay extra Insurance money and nothing could be done".
Now, my questions to Concorde:
1) Why didnt your executive tell me that Electric Blue was not available on the day I booked the car (Monday, 09-Nov-09). If he would have told me, I would have checked with other dealers (Prerana) and booked the car with them. On the other hand, once the car is booked within offer period, it should be delivered to the customer even though it might be late.
2) Concorde made me wait for more than a week and finally I dont have the desired color Car, even though they didnt bother to inform me through out the week.. Moreoever, I need to pay Insurance extra to get my desired color even though I booked the car within Offer period.
3) If they cant change the color right now, whats the use of booking the car with a particular amount within the offer period?
4) Also, NO receipts, no acceptance letter, no booking confirmation letter, NO invoice..... Nothing has been given to me from Concorde motors.... Girish told me that the receipts would be given to me on Monday (09-Nov-09) evening and I am still waiting for them after 9 days of booking!!!! He just gave a xerox copy of the Cheque I gave for booking amount... No Invoice, no receipts, nothing which confirms my booking, Car make, Variant and color!!!
Also, I have invested my precious time, money and had to sit on Bank managers head to get things done in time. After everything, Concorde bluffed me by turning tables on me..
I want to know how this issue woud be handled... Until I dont get a proper answer on these, I wont even think about going ahead with the purchase...
