Pathetic and rowdy natured

Hi all,


I would like to share my experience with Concorde Motors Bangalore.


I had bought an Indigo SX last year (November 2005). It was doing fine until I left that vehicle for 2nd free service in June 2006. After the 2nd free service, I felt some kind of noise in back seat on right hand side, during long drives, I doubted on the door being not shut properly. But one day while cleaning the car I noticed that the right hand side tyres had heavy wear on the inner side. Especially the front tyre had almost reached its end on the inner side, rest of the part was fine and other 2 tyres on left were good. I doubted the alignment being gone badly and went to Concorde.


The service manager Mr.Mahesh, said that I have done something wrong which had made alignment go out of order. I replied back saying that it’s hardly 2000 Kms done since last service, how can it go wrong in that. I doubted the mechanics have done some mistake. For which he shouted loudly saying he is having 14 years exp. and he is never wrong. He did not even made an attempt to correct the problem or even diagnose what went wrong. He was on war footing with me saying that he will touch it only if I agree that problem is because of me, else he will not. But I said, sorry someone of you have done a mistake and you need to pay for it.


I went back and wrote a detailed mail the customer service. They called me and ask me to visit again. I went again, they looked at the vehicle and said cross-link is damaged badly (which was replaced by them some 3 months before for minor issue). I asked them to replace it and do the alignment properly. I came out, and noticed heavy drag onto the right. I was totally pissed, I went to a outside guy to check alignment. It looks like they did alignment only for front wheels, back wheel was not at all aligned. I got it corrected from outside guy. Then I went for long drive, everything was fine until the last hour of journey. I had the noise thing back and there was very light drag. I wrote the mail to them again, as I had no confidence in service head. But unfortunately they guy called me again and threatened me on the phone. I was shell shocked to see there treatment.


I went to prerana motors and meet there service advisor, he corrected the problem in 1 hour ( ply thou was off by some minor distance in back wheel) and now vehicle is in fine condition. I showed the prerana motor guys old cross-link (which Concorde claim it is damaged) and they said it is fine no issues. I did not told prerana that Concorde has replaced it, I just said some mechanic did it. They did complete check and said no more damage is there and tyre wear is because of the ply-thou problem, not anything else. The ply-thou problem can come if the tyres are not fitted properly. In 2nd free service Concorde has done wheel balancing, may be in that time they have not fitted things properly.


When other center guys can talk nice and do the things properly, what is the problem of Concorde guys? They were so rude, shouting all the time and totally unprofessional. I know in India its tough to get good customer service at least they can behave like human beings. For all the experience the service manager claims, he could not find out simple problem in my car. I have lost my tyres in this, now they can be used only for some more time. Concorde is not ready pay for it and not even ready take blame for that.


I would request members to be careful and alert when dealing with them.


I want help of the members in writing the issue to tata motors (i want the concerned person’s email id or postal address). I want justice to be served.
