My Getz Prime has been with me for 3 years. Good car. No problems except for one power window not working well. I had an extended warranty.(Not worth taking it as it does not cover what should be covered and I feel its a scam.) The workshop was not sure if it was covered under the warranty, but was told I should send it and have it checked.
I did just that, requested a regular paid service too, and handed over the car to LA Motors at SV road.
I normally approach any deal with the knowledge that I will be ripped off to some extent. It happens with all the products you buy in India.
The car was taken to the Mulund workshop. I ensured that the trip meter on the odometer showed zero so I could check on the mileage they did to Mulund and back. The tank was half full and that means 20 liters of petrol. The car was returned after servicing.
The tank was down to the reserve light coming on. The odometer showed 56KM done. Consumption should have been approx 6 liters. No account for approx 14 liters of petrol. The insides of the car was dirty with stains. No one with me from LA motors to check the status of the work. The car is parked on the road where there is heavy traffic. No information on the power window work done.
I was told by the workshop that it is working. And it did so far. You will never get a part replaced even under warranty. It will berepaired. I would not go there again.
