Coolpad Note 3 Lite is a more compact, easily manageable and a bit cheaper variant of Coolpad Note 3, a very successful and popular smartphone of 2015. The reason why Coolpad Note 3 was a success was because of its stunning spec-sheet and because it was the first one to bring a fast and accurate fingerprint sensor to affordable price range.
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite carries the same essence to an even lower price bracket. We briefly tried the fingerprint sensor on the Coolpad Note 3 Lite and it worked flawlessly. Also, 3GB RAM for 6, 999 INR should be very appealing to spec junkies, besides performance advantages of course.
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has more rounded edges and a golden chrome lining on the edges. The textured back cover uses a better quality plastic. The display is 5-inches in size with 720p HD sharpness. The chipset is MT6735 quad core clocked at 1.3 GHz. We will comment on the performance after our full review, but we are skeptical about chipset holding well to high-end gaming. Another thing which we would like to check is the camera. Camera performance wasnt a forte of Coolpad Note 3 and the presence of same camera hardware in the Lite variant doesnt instill much confidence. However, considering the price tag, there is not much reason to complain.
This is also the first Coolpad handset to me made in India. The lowest price of Coolpad Note 3 Lite in India is 6, 999 INR. You can buy Coolpad Note 3 Lite online in India from Amazon.in starting 28th January. Since the device will be selling via flash sale initially, you will have to register before hand
