The reason why I love coorg is that it is still untouched and not yet commercialised as other places like ooty. It is just a small town and you can see the real culture of coorg everywhere. Really beautiful. And the drive from bangalore to coorg is fantastic! Specially the rain forest ... amazing :)
Stayed in Coorg International - 2.5K for 1 nite 2 days package. Good hotel. They even arranged for flowers and cake at midnite 12 when my husband requested for them...as it was our first wedding anniversary. Really impressive service ! The breakfast buffet was too good. We didnt have to eat lunch that day :).
One inconvenience we had at coorg was hunting for food. We circled the town thrice and couldn’t find a good restaurant. Later we found one, but the food wasn’t great.
A well planned trip to coorg can be a great weekend getaway.
