CORPORATE :- We can say that the movie has not been made for masses, or in other word it doesn’t has a mass appeal like PAGE 3, I think so Page 3 was hit, for the simple reason CURIOSITY, we people like to know we are always curious what’s happening with our celebrities or stars what they do when they attend parties, what is their style, what they eat, how they eat, how they live their personal life after shooting, in other way we are fascinated by their life style even I was expecting the same here with the corporate world.
If you see CORPORATE, we feel that it is been made only for the multiplexes/metros and wisely so it has done business only in the metro cities. Because its only in metros you will find people working for big corporate/business houses and they are aware of the dark side of any big corporate/big business houses/organizations, like their underworld links and political connections and they can some how relate themselves to the movie in some way or the other.
COPORATE is another well made movie after Chandni Bar and Page 3 by Madhur Bhandarkar as he has the uncanny habit of showing the truth to us and exposing the greats, and to be frank I did like the movie and would love to recommend it to anybody.
As you’ll are aware by now, that the movie is based on the two rival corporate headed by Rajat Kapoor and Raj Babbar, both of them has played their part very well and both are shown ambitious, who can go to any extent to climb the corporate ladder to the top. It will remind you of Pepsi Co & Coco Cola.
Kay Kay Menon is show as brother-in-law of Rajat Kapoor in this movie, has a small role to play, but to be frank but he played his part nicely, I always feel he is underrated actor, he is the fine actor and has the class of Om Puri, Nasseruddin Shah.
Politicians, Bollywood Stars, Directors and Public Servants are always part of Madhur Bhandarkar movies has been show in the bad light, and rightly so they do such things even in real life, even hardcore criminals will fill ashamed of doing them. Even NGO`s weren’t speared by Mr. Madhur this time, which will make us think over the role of NGO`s in the real world. `
Last but not the least
Bipasha Basu is shown as a divorced Senior Executive working for Rajat Kapoor, and who is in love with Kay Kay, and she has acted typically like an executive with right mix of toughness and smartness, to tell you the truth she has played her role superbly after Jism, you can say the movies is based on her as the whole story revolves around her.
Its better not to talk about the Soundtrack, as it is fruitless to keep expectations from Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar regarding the same.
But I had only one question for him regarding the movie and would like to ask Mr. Bhadarkar if he meets me anytime or to my mouthshut friends if they can solve my query and who has seen the movie, the question is If FDA gives clean chit to the company headed by Rajat Kapoor (Sehagal Group of Industries) for the pesticides in colas, then why Bipasha is shown fighting the legal battle for the same?.
Anyways it’s a good movie and can been seen only once.
