Its a film that makes you think, feel helpless and occassionally have tears in the eyes. It also makes you smile, especially with the comments of the peons and the security guards. Corporate is a film where all the actors act very well, the meeting scenes are professional and the undercutting and the bribery scenes very down to earth.
Everyone who is associated with the corporate world knows that such things happen and that rivalry means keeping a step ahead of the others. Learning their secrets, bribing, getting information through various means et al. Yet when one sees it on the screen one feels upset, absolutely helpless that such a system exists and that money and power go hand in hand with sharpness, alertness and being on ones toes all the time.
The corporate heads have to be careful with whom they share their secrets, yet no project can go ahead in absolute secrecy, one has to havve meetings, planning, research, surveys and the like and each step is full of leaks.
The film by Madhur Bhandar needs to be appreciated as it shows the world how the corporate world lives. Here everyone, including the wife and children are involved. Yet, a professional person rarely has time for family and personal work, even though he may have servants to do them.
It is sad but true that the door is very close when one reaches the top and that it is lonely at the top. The film, though shot beautifully, with everyone on their best acting talent, one feels a bit of a loss, a bit of sadness when it is over. And one keeps thinking about it all the time. One just cannot forget such films.
