I have been doing banking transactions for the past 12 years. I have started and closed accounts with most of the Nationalized and private sector banks like Sbi, Canara Bank, Corporation Bank, Punjab national Bank, Bank of Baroda, Centurion Bank, Hdfc bank, Icici Bank etc to mention a few.
And now I hold only Sbi and Corporation Bank which are more than enough for me. My years of experience with banks I would like to tell is that don’t go by the colourful images thrown by private sector banks like Icici or Hdfc banks, they are not there to serve you but to loot you, I have got very bad experiences with ICICI bank and Hdfc Bank.You can get all the services provided by Icici bank and Hdfc from Corporation bank for a paltry amount. A simple example I can tell you is that a savings account in Corporation bank will cost you Rs.500/- with which you gets a International Debit card (Visa), Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Any branch Banking etc
For all these same features in ICICI Bank or Hdfc you have to keep a minimum balance of Rs.10, 000/- in Urban areas and Rs.5000/- in semi urban areas which is very high for these services. And above all if you don’t keep a minimum balance then God also can’t save you .
Above all these Private banks have got several hidden charges which are deducted from our account without our knowledge which is a grave offense. These problems are not there in Corporation bank. Please awake and take a wise decision by abandoning the private sector banks like Icici and Hdfc and move with Banks like Corporation Bank for a Banking experience.
