Its fashionable in Bangalore to open multicusine restaurants, do up the place and serve horrible food.
I could go on and on about what is bad about Cosmo Village. The food is cold, the cook probably has been taxed with cooking items he has never seen and it seems that the place has such high turnover that everyone working there is new and ignorant about the business.
Here are the summary of my experiences
Food was served cold
They ran out of Indian white wine after I consumed a glass and would not
open a bottle unless I agreed to buy the whole bottle
- The waiter did not understand what I was ordering had to call other waiters
who called others and finally someone understood
- My mexican buritto tasted like chapati with Rajma rolled inside it and the
spanish rice was yellow peas pullow
- The indian items(Kerala Paratha and curry) were served cold and laced in
unblended chilly powder(like it was an after thought)
to boot the place was expensive.
Ambience was good so looks like the owner blew all his money on the ambience and could not pay for good cooks and waiters.....
