I was surprised and disappointed in the distance our accommodation was from main city centers. On my previous Cosmos tour in Greece, we were right in the centers of cities, which meant that when we had spare time we could explore at our own discretion.
We could choose restaurants other than at the accommodation. The accommodation in Rome was not only ages away from the city center, it was also extremely dated.
This was also the case in Florence and Lucerne. The hotel in Lucerne had no fridge or air conditioning - we were experiencing temperatures of 40 degrees! Accommodation in Innsbruck and Venice was very nice, however again in the middle of nowhere.
The accommodation issues of this tour would make me extremely wary of booking a tour with Cosmos again. That said, the tour guide and driver were knowledgeable, professional and accommodating of our needs. The itinerary and extra excursions were fantastic.The trip was awesome still cant forget those days still waiting for another Holidays to come
