Live with hope & Learn to wait

It was the unforgettable movie made me read the book The Count of Monte Cristo, although since childhood I knew this famous novel which written by Alexandre Dumas.

Edmond Dantes, a young sailor, he was going to marry his beloved beautiful fiancée, further more he got a promotion to be captain on a ship. What a wonderful life ahead! Then all at a sudden, he was betrayed and circumvented by his best friend, was enjailed in an isolated island unexpectedly, his heart abounded with revenge... 13 years in prison just like a nightmare, no sunshine, no friendship, lived like animal. Only bearing, struggling, loneliness accompanied him. But finally he succeeded in avenge.

The most impressed part is at the end, said by the hero of the novel, Edmond Dantes- ’’Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget that until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words, - `Wait and hope.’

What I admire of this book is the hero’s life didn’t ruin by avenge and lurch, what he had suffered didn’t make him a cold heart person.

When you feel life is unfair, when you almost want to give up in something that you once said you’ll never sacrifice, I highly recommend you read the book.
