If there is one thing that stands upto everything that has been said in the book it must be Theory-i-Management. Don’t get me wrong! I am not suggesting you to dig deep into this so called theory to become stalwarts! I am refering to the self-centered and self-promoting style in which the book is written. Interestingly, one can come across more number of Is, Mes than in a personal biography!!
This boo is nothing but the rave rantings of a rich kid who got to taste success by accident and who is in the hallucination that it works for all. In fact author himself is not clear about many things. For eg. he says we should not accept any one particularly management style blindly. but again he says Japanese mgmt. style is the cure-all for the current problems faced in the Indian industry. Also what makes this a sick reading is, too many emphasis on I did thi, I did that - like a college-goer and those advertisements about himself and his institutions like a IIT-preparation institutes.
It is best suited to be read and yawned over a boring train journey. But I must warn you as your journey progresses the book becomes more boring !
