I have started counting my chicken, when will you?

The Mahabharatha and the Gita could soon be an inspiration for many managers and businessmen, professor Arindam Chaudhuri ?.has picked up threds from these two epics and built the leadership success multiplier model of ?Theory ?i? Managemet? ?

Man proposes, God dispose ??Yet, man achieves ?.often against all odds, some men keen on achieving. This book talks about them and how to become like them.

This book has three distinctly different flavors merging with each other from time to time. At one time it talks about the author?s personal experiences and it sounds autobiographical, at another time it talks about values and skills the author believe in and have worked hard to inculcate, and yet another time it talks of theories and research findings of the author. This blend adds value to the book.

Here goes something for the Bollywood lovers, ?.. According to Arindam Chaudhuri ? ?At the back of my mind, I want this book to be like ?Sholay?. That?s my benchmark and that?s what I want my book to be (a benchmark) for future authors writing books for masses. On the subjects covered in the book I could perhaps talk atleast 25 times more but as a marketing man I realize the consumer is the King. I think very few people have understood the Indian consumer better than Ramesh Sippy did (during the making of Sholay), apart from a handful Yash Chopra and Alyue Padamsee etc.

Thus, I have been telling my friends that while this book should have a simple written yet strong message portrayed through the characters of Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh ?etc. It also needs to clearly define the main villain and bring his demonic behavior (remember the typical ?Kitne Admi The??) in front of the readers and at the same time maintain the right mix of humor of Asrani, romance of Dharmendra-Hema and the short and thus acceptable dash of shimmer that Helen brought in. I hope I have been able to do justice to my thoughts.?

The hope has come true and this simply written book is portraying strong messages now.

The concept of ?India Centric Management? is defined superbly in this book. Perhaps first time any one can refer management lesions from Indian leaders and ?Vedas?.

Few things, I would like to share, which I liked most in this book:

  1. Theory ?i? Management

  2. Examples are taken from Indian holy books and from the lives of Indian leaders.

  3. Simple language

  4. Remember notes

At last I would like to mention one complement given by Shri Vasant Shathe, senior politician after attending an Arindam Chaudhuri?s workshop ?..

?It was brilliant. We need geniuses like Arindam to take this country out of the current state of confusion.?
