My husband got call from country club sales representative some time back and though we generally dont entertain such marketing calls from anyone, he quite liked the idea - land to be allotted as complimentary gift if you take membership.
When the person came home, the plan he put forward was impressive and we found it worth considering. However, it was too good to be true and I when he said that people in Bangalore have welcomed this and it was successfully launched in Blore, I asked him for certain references. Which he obviously didnt give.
He came back after a month and with some brouturers/booklets etc and tried to lure us again. We were still in dilemma. However, meanwhile we found the reviews on mouthshut (thanks a lot guys) and everything became clear.
Again when he called we told him all this and asked for references - though anyone would be insane if they go for the membership after reading the reviews. Actually I wanted him to come home so that I could wreck his neck.
Anyways, he sent us the references this time, and though Ive no intention of checking them, you can use and carry out a check if you want - Im sure these are also fraud.
