Country club Mastered the "Art of finding Bakaras"

Country club really mastered the art of finding bakaras by taking advantage of weak legal system( otherwise ceo would be have been executed by this time) and’other’ aspirations of typical middle class people( middle class has enough money for survival+ little extra money for entertainment /travel/) .


On one weak Sunday, I got call from ccil Bangalore that I got a prize selected out of draw and they asked me to come along with my wife( worst mistake I did) to collect the prize . AFter going there, they said to attend one presentation after that collect the prize .


After one hour of wonderful Marketing gimmicks by their representatives, my wife is literally fallen flat and forcing me to fall even without giving me time to get back( and search internet for reviews, feedback of people which I usually does before buying things), which I refused initially but later she threw me to fall by force!.


But my half-common sense still prevailed, which limited my damage to 1 Lakh rupees though which taught me wonderful lessons in life .


Well coming back to what happened and why I am writing this review, they make tons of nice promises, shows the pictures of many locations, etc in a simple word, they will show heaven in palm!


Reality check: I have to roam around their offices to get membership card and when I try to get reservation to the desired places, I hardly get any reservations . Just becos I stucked in a rut( by paying 1 lakh in advance thru emis), I am forced to take whatever is available which I always kick my but*, whenever I remember this.


Another reality check: when we have money with us, we can go, stay and enjoy the places whenever, wherever we want! Dont pay in advance and later stuck in the mud, helplessly trying to come out, but can’t . They will try to show, prices will increase in future, cost of accommation may go higher, so its VFM to take membership etc etc, but if u really take paper and sit down and do the maths, u will know the real story .


Another reality check: their customer service is wonderful& consistent in calling & reminding everyday to pay AMC( Annual maintenance Cost), but they never get back on info, service you had asked for . But they are damn good at money collection.


Another reality check: don’t get fooled by some of+ve reviews, true 1%+ve reviews will be there, otherwise they can’t keep on finding bakaras for years right! If 100% -ve, then after a while, its hard to find bakaras, but if they keep 1 or 2% people+ve, by using this 1 or 2% people, they can be able to find remaining 98 bakaras easily .


I some times wonder myself, if a highly educated person like me got cheated so easily, what about the others? May be, we educated people are using quarter common sense and the little extra money we had with us is pushing us hard to get cheated easily which is well assisted by weak legal system we had here.


If anybody got chance, time to read review on CCIL, I suggests don’t ever take membership( if I get chance to rewind time, I would correct that) don’t get triggered by cosy pictures they show of resorts, wonderful marketing gimmicks and finally don’t become Bakara!
