I got a random call from a lady saying there is newly opened Sahara Mall opposite to Euro school and there is 4 different gift worth Rs 25k for me if I visit there. I doubt and asked many times if it is any real estate, holiday or club, but she never mentioned its a country club.
Their first attempt to sell the membership itself was fraud call and it was enough for me to doubt and deny the membership offer. While returning back I did some google and found people were already victim of them.
I wasted my time including petrol driving 40kms thinking of new mall. for me their club also looked pathetic. Somehow they managed to fool me attracting with free gift and I am stupid became greedy:(. Nobody gives anything for free, we should not forget this guru mantra.
Holiday is experience of different places, resorts and hotels etc. I don’t even think of buying lifetime membership of any country club or club Mahindra and spent my time with same chain everywhere. There are many new startups coming with adventures and experiences so I don’t recommend people to take any membership at least of holiday.
How they think they can sell their lakhs of fee amount membership this way. atleast people do some research before taking any membership. If they had told me in advance it would be saving of my time and their time too.
