This is about a bad experience of one of my relative in Pune.
He had filled up a coupon at one of malls in Pune.
Next day he got a call saying that he is lucky draw winner and has won kitchen appliance worth 25000 INR n a free family tour.
And they called him n his wife to their office in Connaught place, Pune.
They told him that he has to attend 90 min presentation after which they will give away the 2 prizes won by him.
the presentation went on for 2 hrs in which the representative explained about the Club and its benefits.
and at the end about the fees. It was 2 lakh for 5 yrs.and they said thay day’s offer will be for 1 lakh INR for 5 yrs.
They were a group of youngsters trying to convince all these’customers’they were forcing them to give credit cards or withdraw cash from ATM and pay booking amount of 15000 INR
My relatives were not at all interested and told them to give them the prize n they wanted to leave.
But these CC people made them wait n wait giving some or other excuse.that prize in on d way etc etc.
After abt 3.5 hrs, they finally gave them a gift wrapped box which had a glass set worth 50 Rs!
and the tour coupon hd endless terms n conditions nad was NOT FREE as claimed.
finally it was a waste of time for my relatives and all they other people who were trapped by this phone call of being lucky winner.
I came to know that CC is a fraud and have been cheating people in various cities like Mumbai, Banglore, chennai, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune etc etc. read about it on MS also
So please be aware of this fraud n save urself of time and money!
