Another Mouse in trap by cheaters at Country Club

This is to bring to your kind notice that your COUNTRY CLUB, Sarjapur, Bangalore team has cheated me by telling all false things and making me sign on documents which had complete different things written on them. When I questioned them I got a response things usually are bit different but don’t worry few things are not updated yet, you will get detailed kit by courier.


Each and every things told to me was to get the sales done and to extract money from me for which Mr Imran acted as a trainee wrote all details on a plain paper which he smartly removed from my documents later and Mr Reuben acted as Manager working from past 10 years supported all this and convinced us with best false promises I could do.


Mr Imran came to my place with one more guy so I can make the payment through credit card and was here till 1 am. Since then his number is off and manager is not answering my calls. Your customer care has no clue as County club doesn’t offer such things or are different to what I was told.


I AM GOING TO FILE COMPLAINT AT THE EARLIEST IF I DON’T GET MY MONEY BACK!


I have paid Rs/- 82000 on 26th March, 2015 . Rs 66000/- by HDFC Bank Credit card and Rs 16000/- by INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK debit card!


On 26 March 2015, I got an anonymous call that I have won a set of three gifts in a lucky draw which I filled(only but Big Mistake) previous week at some mall. After asking for the brand name many times they just mentioned that I have to reach Gardens Cafe before 8:30pm same day at Sarjapur, Bangalore. So I reached there as per address given on calls and messages. It was County Club Sarjapur basement(No signals on phone:(.). After reaching there they told us its compulsory to attend an hour long presentation after that we can receive our gifts.


We saw there were many couples and families there already sitting with agents of the brand on round tables separately(but it was a made up setup which I sensed later). We were told that it was 25 yrs completion celebration going on of country Club and for that they have organised this lucky draw and we are entitled to one dinner set, club passes and two holiday vouchers.


But before that they would tell us about there vacation properties and plans. Offers are just for the day and for only 116 families and we have to make up our mind at the time and pay at least 40% of the amount, if interested.


We were expecting a large amount throughout the presentation to come up in the end and that’s what it was. A lifetime membership of there club and vacations for 8 people transferable upto two generations also re-sale-able if we don’t want to use it further. The document says its valid for 30 yrs only.


Started with 260000 Rs ended to 205000 Rs after applying some corporate discounts paid in 2 and a half year with no bound EMI system.


-They claimed certain tie ups with many banks like HDFC, ICICI and several others for 0% interest EMI on credit cards for two years.(Banks denies any such tie ups.)


-Another claim was tie ups with many airlines to provide minimum 20% to 40% discount on all the flight bookings for vacations. And I can book them when ever I want. When I called your Holiday Reservation number they directed me to call Customer care. Customer care people asked me to call Holiday Reservation number as they have no clue what I am talking about. When I confronted them they tried to direct me to the sales team and started offering me vouchers and told I have to book flight tickets myself and they will give cash back for one side journey only once in a year.


Vacations Include


-High priority membership for all seasons.


-5 to 7 star accommodation & clubs.


-Free pick and drop for airport whether we use there accommodation or not.


-Will avail a car for self drive or with driver for site seeing with only paying patrol charges.


-A stay of 2 rooms with kitchen(if wanna cook) for any 8 members+ site seeing+ fitness centers+ Swimming Pool+ Sports Complex+ Any activities going on.


-For any reason if wanna use any other resorts than country club property we would have to pay tax of Rs 4000 and avail for 6 nights and 7 days holidays per year for this we will get some DAE membership card free with our welcome kit which I never got.


-Holidays can be called on or carry forward upto 4 years(For maximum of one month at once).


-Can be sell off the holidays with the help of agents if not using.


-Can book for friends and family also with out being on vacation by self.

  • Free Country Club membership for life time with an AMC of 8500 Rs for maintenance etc. -Club includes Fitness Center, Swimming pool facilities, Restaurant, Sports complex, activities like power yoga, zumba classes etc. and other shooting and cooking training etc. at times.




-Yearly 4 personal parties can be organised at club by members.


Firstly, the first visit to Sarjapur club went horrible when saw public entry to the swimming pool for mere Rs 50-100 charges. It was filthy and stinky. no maintenance. Broken bathroom doors, broken taps and stinky.


Also, the pool tables were in horrible condition.


Even all the area remains open for non members with small charges.


Lost my stuff at the club no lockers were provided.


If this is the condition of main facility in Bangalore, expect even worst at other places.


When I got my courier for Country Vacations


-Two country club cards.


-A blue card for not so priority membership.


Tried to book a holiday from Bangalore to Mysore: but got a response I cant book as no accommodation as its a tied up property.


-Will have to plan holidays atleast 2 months prior.(I was told by sales I can book holiday even one week in advance)


-Rooms can accommodate only 3 people with extra bedding charges.


-Only 2 rooms can be booked maximum on one membership.(sales people told its for 8 people.)


When reached to the sales person I dealt with they gave me no proper answer to all these on call complaints saying there are always a few people who don’t understand their package properly.


Also, he said that the operator would have kept calling till we would not have visited the other day.


While giving membership executive Mr. Imran came to our place at 1 am for we were not carrying our credit card.


I am gonna file a complaint against Country club, its owner Mr. Reddy and the sales team for their false promises and cheap marketing tactics.


Made a partial payment with debit card and credit card. Now tell me what lame excuse you guys have?
