I am country vacation 30 years member, This is the first trip which I ever went with the family.
At first, I have asked for the booking through Country vacations and it done immediately. I went through flight from Chennai to Trivandrum(TVC), I asked for airport pickup from the resort, they said the charge is 650. But the same resort person told me that, you can get a prepaid taxi from trivandrum airport lesser than this. Then I booked the prepaid taxi for Rs.500 to the resort.
The resort is quite far from the main road. If you forgot anything and planned to buy later then it is very difficult to get it, because no big shops are available in the main road also. So before getting into the resort get whatever you want from TVC. We reached the resort. On the first look Resort is looking amazing.
They gave us the studio type room, please refer the image I have uploaded. The resort is very good, Food and 2 swimming pool. We spent the entire day in the pool. My daughter was enjoyed like anything.
Food, It is was pleasant surprise for me that, I have MAP plan, which is Morning breakfast and evening dinner is absolutely free. Both is in Buffey. Even Lunch is also not that much costlier. The only problem they have specific timings for the Breakfast(BF), Lunch and dinner. After that you will get only snacks, even outside also you will not get any good food.
BF - Timing - 7.30 to 10.30 AM
Lunch - 12.00 PM to 3.00 PM (You will get Fish and all items)
Dinner - 7.00 PM to 10.30 PM (only one non-veg item, Chicken)
There is a restarunt adjacent to Country club, I am not sure how far it will be good.
One day we planned for the trip to TVC. The Club has the travel desk, they have the pamplet for different spots and its tariffs.
We have taken 7 hrs TVC trip, it costs 1400, ( A/C Indica car - you have to pay the amt directly to the cab driver not to Country club). It was amazing that the cab driver helped us to guide through lot of spots.
The beach backside of Country club is not good and it has bad smell and the path for the Beach from resort is also not good and not safe.
And one day we spent in Country SPA, dont miss this. It was amazing. The person who did the massage for me has the excellent experience in this. I have taken full body massage, for members it is Rs.800 and non-members it is Rs.1250.
I have stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, over all my expenses is Rs.19000 (which includes, Airfare, Train ticket, cab, food and massage).
Go with the Family and you will definetly enjoy lot.
