The most unprofessional hotel experience that I have ever had. These guys completely destroyed my trust in my fellow human beings. Owing to the good experiences that I had with some of the previous resorts, I paid in full(1600* 2= Rs. 3200/-) for a two night stay at this place. But, the’Resort’ turned out to be a place with less than basic facilities and no security. Not even backup power. Nothing that could justify the exorbitant rate that they charged me. I could not risk staying the night with my family.
So, we moved to a decent place nearby. After my trip, I tried to contact the person who fleeced me. But, he just would not pick up his phone. His name is Mr. Navin Karunakaran and he is the contact specified in their website https://theyelagirihills.com. The website lists a number of facilities. But, that is just advertisement and nothing could be farther from reality. So, beware of Yelagiri Hills Country Club and Mr. Navin Karunakaran.
