I went to Chopta, Uttarakhand in September last year for trekking. Chopta is not a very known place. It was my first experience also. In Chopta I was with a group who were pretty excited to explore the Himalayas, Same with me. I have traveled to many hill stations but have never seen such nice forests and hills. Chopta is the place that promotes its snow-capped trekking expeditions. We reside in some of the lovely villages that fall along the way add to the serenity of the place.The place itself is very beautiful and so is the approach. Chopta is easily one of the must-visit places in Uttarakhand.
