Let me share my experience with Country Vacatons (CV)Recently on 6th-June-10, my wife got a call from CV customer care Pune.The representatives name is Arshad Waseem.Before that let me narrate what had happened.I had gone to eSquare to watch a movie.On the entrance a man had handed us a form to fill in our details .My wife had filled up the form lest knowing what might be the consequenses.However after two days , I get a call from Arshad , telling us that we have won two prizes(dinner set and vacation coupon worth 25000)absouletly free , asking us to come down to Connaught Place , in Pune, Bund Garden Road opposite Tata Mgt .at 11:00 am to collect the same.On 11th-June-10 we arrive at the spot and we were told that there will a sort presentation of 1 hr afterwhich we shall be handed over the gifts.After half an hour we were escorted by a representative( Nikhil) to a room in the first floor of the building, where I saw it was filledwith people.On enquiring I was told that they has selected a total of 25 families and they were would be offered the same gifts after the presentationThe presentation that followed was a short summary of CV’s background and then the lucrative offered packages that they were providing.Vacation to any of their of their hotel facilities( fivestar) in or abroad plus a lifetime membership to there clubbing facility.I fell into there trap and have paid an amount of Rs40, 000 after which they have made an agreement saying if I want to cancel the registration or want to opt out they shall deduct 80% and refund 20%.I feel thoroughly dejected and cheated by they thugs.
