Story of one of victim of Country Vacations Fraud( Branch of Country Club) among thousands., Beware.
I lost Rs. 85000 in July 2014 by Country Club Fraud(Country Vacations) due to their fake promises and could not able to sleep few days, and still in Financial trouble due to this fraud-
I received a call to get free gift from shopping mall association, Bangalore from Country club Hotel, Bellundur, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore.
When I reached there they told me to attend 45 min presentation before collecting free gift worth Rs 25000. While Presentation sales agents convinced me to take membership and holiday package in Rs 85000 by making below fake promises.
Even I was not given time to read the contract, and they brainwashed my mind and told this is not your property document we are getting sign on.
The fake promises and story began as below:-
Initially they told me that you are lucky one to be in 116 people, tomorrow is Country Club’s 30th anniversary so we are giving this offer to you.
For 5 year holiday tour(for 6Night and 7 Days free in any country club hotel(450+ hotels) in India and worldwide) of worth Rs 120000, but you will have to pay only 85000 and out of this amount you are getting below benefits:-
a) 3 lifetime membership card of Gold category for Country Club as free.(Hidden AMC charges of Rs 7500 was disclosed after payment)
b) They told, We will convert Credit card amount of 50, 000 into 24 EMI of 0% intrest and no processing charge, First EMI start after 45 days.(BUT WHOLE AMOUNT IS DEDUCTED WITHOUT ANY EMI as per my Credit card statement attached)
c) 2 holiday voucher as free gift worth 25000, which you can rent on through Leave Travel Agent. We would help to get it rented and amount will come in your account
d) You would get about 40% off in bus/train/air travel if you inform us your dates 30 days before.
e) You would get free sight view, free pickup and drop from home wile vacation and many more promises.
f) I was told that you can cancle the membership and whole transaction would be cancelled if you request before 45 days to us.(but when I called customer care they told its not possible).
g) Regulator authority AIRDA recommends a cooling-off period of 10 clear working days, during which customers have the option to revoke, rescind and make void ab initio, any sales agreement entered into.
Whole clauses of agreement was totally different than what their agents promised.
After returning home when I searched the internet and put keyword County Club… “The first Google search suggestion was County Club Fraud”, I was shocked and investigated and found that around thousands have been cheated by Country Club(Country Vacations) all over India and its still continued without any hesitation.
Even after requesting for cancellation within 10 day of Cooling-off period as per regulator authority, and continuous following up for cancellation and refund of money from last 2 months no reply received from their side. I am sure they will not respond, and are still trying to trap me in new fake promises. Even they didn’t bother about sending any membership cards in last 2 months which was the main product.
I am following up and have faith that Bank disputes which I had raised may come in my favor otherwise I will have to run this long battle in the Consumer court/Court.
THEY ARE INVOLVED INCOMPLETE FRAUD ACTIVITIES AND ARE NOT AT ALL RELIABLE, PFB SOME LINKS which supports my claim. Hope you will be aware and make your friends and relative aware about this BIG Fraud.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVEN MY ENEMY TO BE A MEMBER OF COUNTRY VACATION(Brach of COUNTRY CLUB).
I also request to some govt. authorities/politicians if they really want to stop Corruption in Business, should take any step against this type of fraud practice where companies like Country Vacations are getting benifited due to loop holes in the system and AS PEOPLE ARE NOT UNITED, NO MEDIA IS COVERING THIS TYPE OF FRAUD. so that no other become victim like me and suffers metal harassment. This is a type of Organized Business corruption which they are performing in legal ways…., There are so many cases FIRs, News reports etc about it. You can search on Google.
Again Requesting you Please Please Please Please Don’t come in the trap of Country Club(Country Vacations) ever…., I don’t want anyone else suffers like we are suffering.
