I had a horrible experience with Country vacations. I bought the membership from them in October 2008. I wanted to make a reservation for Country club de Goa for June 2009. I called them 2 months in advance for the booking. After placing the request, when I followed up with them, they said that the room is blocked under my name. Finally, when I asked for the confirmation through mail 10 days before my date of travel, they said that there is no reservations done. Further, they say that there are no rooms available.
To add to that, I called up directly at Country club de Goa and they said that there are rooms available at their resort. But the Country vacations Pune office is not ready to give my the bookings saying that those rooms are blocked for non-members and not for members although they promised that their first priority is always their members and not non-members.
Now, they are asking me to take reservations in their affiliated club for which I have to pay them extra money inspite of having taken Country Vacations membership.
I strongly urge people NEVER to go with Country Vacations membership. These people are cheats!!!
