1) **Billing Issue:** I took membership on November 27 2013. No: CVBG2BGCLUB30LB162930. I was told its interest free EMI on CC. I was charged interest. However, Last five months I am trying to revert the interest charges. Worst thing is they make me visit their branch (JP Nagar, Bangalore) every week! And the concerned person hide on some pretext. First it was Roshan, then Tilakavati then Manjunath and there were so many people the case gets transferred in between. E.g. Manjunath said " Sir, Please come to our office between 3PM to 6PM next tuesday to collect the DD."
When I visited he was not there and nobody knew whats the status. They dont give a written acknowledgement of the case and again you start fresh explaining the issue to somebody else and he takes another one month to transfer to somebody. It has become a ritual and probably they are trained to frustrate the customer so that he will finally give up.
2) **Booking Experience:** I booked a holiday on a free voucher given to me from April 12 to 18 at Country Club Rock Springs Cochin. Booking No: CVGON247767. I was charged Rs. 14, 500/- for food and maintenance which is compulsory. One week before travel, I wanted to change the resort. I reached out to customer care and was asked to reach out to Rebecca, then Tilakavati and then central reservation system at Hyderabad. Everyone says I will not be able to do it but you have to reach out to this person. His/ her phone no. is. Finally I was told once booked change of venue or date is not possible at any case! Which resort doesnt allow rescheduling? Finally I lost that booking amount and that too because of a free voucher!
3) **Club Experience:** We visited Sarjapur Road, Bangalore club 3 weeks back on a Sunday. The location is very good (on outer ring road). Swimming pool is okay. Slightly bigger than a typical apartment swimming pool. Childrens play area is just for name sake.
We didnt have food and didnt stay there. So cant comment about it. The worst thing was the changing room near the swimming pool, which was stinking and smelling like a urinal near a bus stand.
Even toilet in Sulabh Sauchalaya is better maintained. There was no hanger to even keep the clothes while changing. I finally asked the guard, to at least keep a plastic chair inside so that we can keep the clothes while changing! And this club they say is the best in Bangalore! We got spa vouchers as part of our membership gift for one year. After the swimming pool experience we decided not to go for SPA.
There are other facilities like gym. But I didnt find them useful because there is nothing extra that is not in our apartment.
