I am a die hard fan of Jaggu Dada aka Jackie Shroff. Jackie Shroff is one of the most stylish actor. I have seen in Bollywood. He has an amazing personality and acting skills. I have seen most of his movies. Today I would like to talk about his upcoming movie Cover Story.
Cover Story is releasing worldwide on 19th August. It stars Sheena S Nayyer, Jackie Shroff.Cover Story is the first Hindi film to be directed by Dutch director Laurence Postma and is the official remake of the acclaimed Dutch film, Interview of Theo Van Gogh. It was remade in Hollywood by veteran actor Steve Buscemi as Interview, starring himself and Sienna Miller.
’Cover Story’ is based on the story of a successful Film actress played by Sheena. A concept driven movie, COVER STORY is about a special assignment for a magazine COVER STORY, a one night account of an interview with the film star and the scoop that the correspondent gets for the publication.
COVER STORY takes place across an eventful night when a veteran journalist played by Jackie Shroff discovers there is more to the leading actress played by Sheena S Nayyer he is interviewing than meets the eye, and as the interview progresses, he finds himself drawn into the actress’ intriguing world. As the Dictaphone keeps recording, the interview derails, the characters collide and tension rises to a feverish level. Is this intimate interview of the actress, almost a confession(which for a different kind of reporter would be a publicity breakthrough), for real, or is she a better actress than he thinks she is? And does the reporter, with his approach, go a bit too far? The confrontation evolves into a passionate duel, with one overriding question: who is going to win?
I will definitely watch this movie. I am hoping that this movie becomes a run away hit and resurrects Jaggu Dada’s career as an Actor. Jackie Shroff has contributed immensely to Bollywood and has entertained millions of people in the past. Wish Jackie Shroff & his Movie Cover Story does well at the Box Office.
