One of the worst travel operators.

We had booked a trip for two to Maldives. Firstly Cox and King’s doesn’t offer anything other than the resort reservation for this tour. They claim that they will send representatives to the airport for your pickup but the actual truth is that this pick up service is arranged by the Resort at which you have booked.


We had booked this trip form Kormangala Cox and King’s . Mr Kumareshan, the manager there, had initially sent us a package details that was very lucrative but once we went to book our trip the price were increased even though the dollar rates had not increased. Initially they had promised us half board but then they gave us only bed and breakfast and said that if we include the lunch it would cost us much more. When we asked for an explanation he merely said that the quotation initially send was just an approximation. What is the use of sending a quotation without checking out the exact rates?


They didn’t even have direct contact with the resorts. They had to  book it though some 3rd party tour operators.


Secondly for booking the air tickets they chose to do it from some expensive 3rd party site rather than direct Air India site that was charging much less for the same tickets.


We had made the payment for air ticket and 50% accommodation. We were promised that we would have to make the rest of the payment later and that when we make the rest to the payment the present Dollar charges on the remaining amount would be charged. But a few days later, we got a call saying that we would be charged the present dollar rate on the entire amount. What is the use of making the  50% payment then?


I have never seen such fraud travel agents ever in my life. We ended up paying much more than the initial amount that was promised. These people are like chameleons that keep changing their colours. They would unnecessarily keep increasing the charge once they are confirmed that you will travel with them. The Service particularly at the Kormangala outlet is the worst. They have appointed some useless staff who are of no help and will misbehave with you. I would advise no one should book from this tour operator.
