This travel company which organises different type of tours group, fixed departures, customised, MICE etc has left a very bad taste of experience with me. This short narration brings out their outlook towards customers which has a focused mindset - Get the Customers into your trap, collect money from them, select the customers and reject the others. Return the money of the rejected customers but not before you have played around with the float.


The company organised a carnival at Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi in end Mar and allured me into a package for Russia at a reasonable offer. The person - Mr Anjaneya who booked my tour took a token amount of Rs 46, 000.00 . Post confirmation, I received a mail from Mr Anjaneya that the deal has been finalised On Twin Sharing Basis at a cost of Rs 1, 04, 012(INR 9, 999+ USD 1375) and he would be the single point contact for the tour. But it didn’t happen. The mobile number provided by him was always picked up by someone else who said that Mr Anjaneya is on a tour and will revert to you.  Thereafter I received a mail from a gentleman called Sachin Nehra giving the entire programme and at the end of the mail was mentioned the cost of the tour -  INR  1, 12, 963 /-  (INCLUSIVE 5% GST INR 1, 18, 611 /- PER PERSON). I argued against the revised rate indicated to which he replied that there has been a surcharge levied by the Airline as a result of which, the cost had increased. I asked him to provide with the relevant communication or notification about the increase in surcharge and there was no response. Later, I received a mail stating that there was no departure on 14 Aug, so I needed to change my departure date to either 07 or 28 Aug18. The point I need to highlight is that I am a member of the armed force and I require certain statutory clearances which include the vigilance and no objection for which I had booked the dates in advance to be provided to the department and was brought out to Mr Anjaneya loud and clear. But sadly they backed out and Mr Sachin Nehra told me on phone that there is no departure on 14 Aug sent me a mail requesting for alternate dates which were of no use. However, it is relevant to mention that I went to Russia by the same flight on the same day to the same destinations at the same cost. The company who handled the tour was the same who handled Cox & Kings. We were surprised to see a person receiving us with a Cox and King Placard. There were 12 persons from Cox and Kings in that tour and remaining 9 through DELMOS. Since there is a limitation of number of pics which can be uploaded, I am sending the uploading the mail by CNK which intimated me that there was no tour on 14 Aug 18 and the the tour program of M/s Santro who handled the Russia tour of 14 Aug of which I was also a part as an independent tour.


Further when I made a comment o FB, I was informed that they have taken a serious note of it and requested me to submit the same through their inbox. When done, I received a reply to send a mail to customerservice@coxandkings.com. I sent the whole story once again with the entire chain of mail but they have not even acknowledged the receipt of the same.
