When we went to the Cox & Kings office in Koramangala, and asked if it was the main Cox and Kings office or a franchise, we were lied to and told that it was the main office. The guy was not very helpful either. Even though the package by Cox and Kings was cheaper than that of other service providers, the itinerary was not something that was worth the money we spent. We had opted for the 6 days and 7 nights deal to Mauritius. The flight and the resort were good but out of the 6 days they were supposed to take us sightseeing only for 3 days.
It was outsourced to a 3rd party who couldn’t care less about our experience. 1st day was only a half day trip where we were taken shopping most of the day and to a fort. They skipped one-two places from the 1st day itinerary. 2nd day we went for water sports activities which ofcourse we had to pay for. 3rd day was again a shopping trip and 2-3 not so famous spots. We had a very bad experience on the 3rd day and the tour guide was rude and we had to cut short our trip for that day. We enjoyed the 3 days that we had to ourselves and explored Mauritius on our own.
In short, you can get the tickets and plan your itinerary yourself by doing some research on the net about the interesting places to visit wherever you travel or pay a little more to another service provider and get a stress free vacation!
