You as the consumer are aware , I am sure of , the great nutritional benefits of cranberry juice . I tend to over drink carbonated drinks . These can lead to urinary tract infections which may lead to more serious problems . Men along with women can be prone to to urinary tract infections . I bought and still buy cranberry juice weekly to give my body a break from the harmful fluids I ingest .
Pregnant women tend to get more urinary tract infections than the general population , this juice is an excellent way to keep healthy for them and for baby . I drank more cranberry juice in my second pregnancy and only got one infection , compared to several with my first .
Cranberry juice is much like a sweet tart . At first it sweet and as the juice flows towards the back of your tongue , it becomes more tart . I feel it leaves my mouth feeling fresh .

If you find that the juice is too tart for your particular taste , you may sweeten it up by adding honey . Honey is very good for you and an excellent alternative to refined sugar . Refined sugar has absolutely no nutritional content .
Fresh cranberries are hard to find as they are usually harvested near the fall season . If you buy them during the fall season and freeze them , you can make delightful drink blend in your blender with a little juice , ice , and fresh fruit . I like to add strawberries to cranberries for a great tasting twist .
Three ways to make a healthy snack your kids will be sure to enjoy are : Make inexpensive juice pops by freezing the juice in ice cube trays . Wrap tin foil around the top and then stick craft sticks inside . These can be found at a craft store . They are better known as popsicle sticks . ( Hee , Hee )
Creamy cranberry bites : You can buy cocktail ice trays at most grocery stores . You will need these . A container of vanilla flavored yogurt , preferrably Yoplait , and some cranberry juice . Mix in your blender to a creamy thick consistancy , and freeze until ready .
Creamy Cranberry Pops : Same as above only use the juice pop cube trays with the craft sticks .
This is great way to make your children feel like they are junking out on frozen snacks , while secretly grinning as you know it is good for them .
