There are few movies that really got me thinking. And I would have to say that this is one of them. Crash is basically a crime/ thriller/ drama genre based movie and is probably one of the most thinking movies with a very subtle undertones of the ongoing racial conflicts in the US. The movie is brillantly made and the pace of the movie is good too. The actors are exceptional and all of them have done a real good job with their respective parts. Don Cheadle the protagonist of the movie is great and am actually looking forward for his Hotel Rwanda. This is the first movie I have seen Sandra Bullock in a overly serious role (her previous movies I watched have been romantic flicks enjoyable to a certain degree). The same is the case with Brendan Fraser. The characters are all very believable and I guess most americans will associate themselves with them in some way or the other! Another great aspect of the movie is its totally god-awesome soundtrack which is very dark but none the less enjoyable! This is one soundtrack which you should have and I would put it with the likes of Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty and Green Mile (Thomas Newman is a great music director). The movie demands attention and if you cant afford to give it - then dont watch it because it will spoil the fun of the film.
